Robert ‘Bobby’ Seabourne

DESLOGE — Robert “Bobby” Seabourne, 71, formerly of Leadwood, passed away quietly, at St. Francois Manor in Farmington. He was born July 3, 1941, in St. Louis, to the late Robert “Red” and Dorothy “Dot” (Warren) Seabourne.  He attended First Baptist Church of Leadwood before moving to Doe Run.  Bobby touched the lives of many people during his time on earth.  He almost always had a kind word and a smile on his face.  He loved to tell jokes, and his latest caper was convincing the staff at St. Francois Manor, he was the mayor of Munchkin Land in The Wizard of Oz.

He is preceded in death by parents and brothers, Benjamin Seabourne and Danny Joe Seabourne.

Bobby is survived by brother, Gary (Marcia) Seabourne of Jefferson City and sister, Sandi Allen of Lake St. Louis; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins.

The family will accept friends at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with the service following immediately at 3:00 p.m.  Memorials may be given to Crawford Ranch Boarding Home in Doe Run.  View tribute and share your memories and condolences at czboyer.com.
