Locals Recognized For Helping Veterans

Local Veteran and VFW member Roy Losh has coordinated with Cap America and the VFW Post 4320, to deliver caps to residents at the VA Medical Center in Cape Giardeau for the last four years and in Poplar Bluff, as well, this year.

Donna Reynolds, Acting Chief of Voluntary Services for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Poplar Bluff, sent a letter of appreciation for these efforts.

She said, “Your thoughtfulness reflects the concern that you feel for our Veterans and for the service they provided to all of us while in service to our country. Without your support, we could not provide the comfort items that make hospitalization more pleasant. Your thoughtfulness also reflects the concern and compassion that our community feels for our veterans.”
