Scouting For Food Drive November 10, 17

Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts from Fredericktown will be out in full force the next two Saturdays to help take part in the 28th annual, national “Scouting for Food” drive.

The boys will be placing bags on doors of all city residents starting at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 10.  Citizens are asked to take the time to fill the bag with non-perishable food items and then place the filled bags at their front door the next Saturday, November 17, by 9 a.m.  The boys will be collecting the bags starting at 10.

Everyone in the community is encouraged to help out.  All collected items go to the Madison County Food Pantry.

Anyone outside of the city limits who would like to donate may drop off items at the Scout Hut between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., Saturday, November 17. The Scout Hut is located on Highway 72 East across from the Dollar General Store and Bozlee’s.
