Medical staff makes a difference in community

Farmington, MO – The medical staff at Parkland Health Center is pleased to support organizations that are doing good things in St. Francois County and the surrounding area. They recently presented a check for $1000 to the United Way of St. Francois County for the fourth consecutive year.

Parkland’s Chief of Staff Dr. Scott Kirkley, along with Dr. Gary Grix and Dr. Karin Clauss presented a check to the United Way of St. Francois County’s Executive Director, Donna Hickman. “We are pleased to present this gift from the Parkland medical staff to an organization that helps so many people in our area,” says Dr. Kirkley. “During this time of increasing requests for assistance, we’re glad we are able to help the United Way meet those needs.”

Parkland Health Center is part of BJC HealthCare which also includes St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Barnes-Jewish Hospital, the teaching hospitals for Washington University School of Medicine.
