Bismarck Honors Veterans

Despite strong winds and light rain that moved through the Parkland on Sunday, veterans of VFW Post 6947 and its Ladies Auxiliary met at Bismarck’s Veterans Memorial on East Main Street at 11 a.m. in recognition of Veterans Day 2012.

In a brief ceremony, VFW members honored those who honorably served the United States of America in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard.
