FHS Junior Attends Leadership Forum
Clayton Brown, a Junior at Fredericktown High School and a First Lieutenant in the JROTC program, was nominated to go to Washington DC to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum on National Security. While in Washington, Clayton met with key leaders in Intelligence and Defense and Diplomatic Affairs, taking an active part in forums dealing with National Security, Nuclear weapons, and drug trafficking. As a part of the training, Clayton participated in a drug trafficking simulation. While there, he was able to tour the FBI Academy at Quantico, Capitol Hill, Arlington National Cemetery, The Smithsonian, Korean, Vietnam and Lincoln Memorials as well as the National WWII memorial. Upon his return, Clayton presented a de-briefing of his trip to the JROTC. Clayton is pictured in front of a monument at the National WWII Memorial.
