Jesse Clyde Patterson

DESLOGE — Jesse Clyde Patterson, 89, of Desloge passed away peacefully at his home with his family November 20, 2012. He was born September 28, 1923, at Bonne Terre. He was a member of the Desloge First Baptist Church, where he served as secretary, he was a member of the Masonic Lodge Elvins Ionic #154 AF & AM for over 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin J. and Cora May (Straughan) Patterson; his wives, Wilma Lee Patterson (Brand) (49 years) and Hilda Muriel Patterson (13 years); his son Artie M. Stegall; one grandchild, Brian K. Lawson; five brothers, Homer, Jim, Lynn, Roscoe and Winfred.

He is survived by his daughter, Marlene Schrum of Ironton; daughter-in-law, Anna J. Stegall of Farmington; three step-children, Cindy Foshee of Festus, Charles “Chuck” Foshee and wife Martha of Kansas City and Stephen Foshee and wife Michele of Desloge; grandchildren Wm. Eli Lawson and wife Sonya of Harmony, Fla., and Bruce Lawson of Farmington.

Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m. Monday November 26, 2012, at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Visitation will resume at 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Desloge First Baptist Church with Pastor Bradford Laubinger officiating. Interment will be held at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. Memorials may be made to Desloge Baptist Church Building Fund.
