Lady Warriors triumph again for shot at tourney title

STE. GENEVIEVE — The Valle Lady Warriors will play for first-place in their own tournament tonight at 7:30 when they take on cross-town rival Ste. Genevieve Lady Hunters. Valle defeated Crystal City 50-40 for their second win in as many games to set up the last game in their round-robin format as a championship game between the two undefeateds.

Gretchen Koller had the hot hand for the Lady Warriors with 18 points. Mackenzie Wipfler was next with 11. Koller also led the team in steals with five and rebounds with seven. Emily Flecke scored 13 for Crystal City and Dana Link scored 12.
