Large Brush Fire near Coffman Area

A ground fire in the Mark Twain National Forest near Coffman has burned approximately 150 acres and is still burning as of 4:30 p.m.

The  fire started approximately 1 p.m. near the area of Bidwell Creek Road and Route WW.  Multiple departments from several counties are on the scene.  

No injuries or property damage have been reported at this time.

Officials expect to have the blaze fully contained this evening.
