Lady Blackcats racing start leaves Lady Indians in dust

BISMARCK — The Fredericktown Lady Blackcats ran the floor with precision to start their game with host Bismarck Lady Indians leading to a 15-0 start and an eventual 63-47 win.

Terra Helm led the Blackcats with 14 points, Nicole Burns scored 13 and Paige Godsey finished with nine. Brooke Tonjum led in rebounds with six.

Bismarck’s seven was trimmed to five with two players leaving the game to injury. Jessica Sago scored 21 points for the Lady Indians an pulled down nine rebounds. Darcy Latham finished with 15 points.

Fredericktown will next host St. Vincent on Thursday. Bismarck will open conference play on Monday when they will host Arcadia Valley.
