Dora Thompson

Dora Emma Thompson, 92, died November 29, 2012 at Stockhoff Nursing Home. She was born March 27, 1920 at Mine La Motte, Missouri, the daughter of William and Hattie (Wood) Finch.

Dora was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William A. Thompson, whom she married in 1935 at Higdon; and 15 brothers and sisters.

Dora is survived by son Lonnie Thompson of Manchester; daughters Melinda  Richardson of St. Charles and Andrea Thompson of Fenton; two grandchildren;  and two great-grandchildren.

Dora was of the Christian faith, loved life, and lived to be on the move.

Funeral services were Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Follis and Sons Funeral Home with Brother Clyde Bess Sr. officiating. Burial was in Whitewater Cemetery in Perry County, Missouri.
