PlayPower moves to new location

PlayPower LT Farmington, Inc., manufacturer of the Little Tikes Commercial and Iron Mountain Forge brands of products, held a ceremonial ribbon cutting on Dec. 7 to officially open their new office located at 1615 Airpark Drive in Farmington. The new office replaces the former Little Tikes Commercial office located at 1 Iron Mountain Drive.

The new facility is part of the existing Trimfoot Company location. PlayPower LT Farmington, Inc. worked with local contractors on the remodeling of the facility to turn the open warehouse into a modern office space. The construction was completed in October, and the staff moved into the Airpark location that same month.

“We were pleased to partner with PlayPower LT Farmington, Inc. in finding a suitable location for their office staff and new product development teams in our Airpark facility,” said Larry Skaggs, CEO of Trimfoot Co. LLC.

Although the rotational molding and manufacturing processes were relocated to Monett, Mo. in 2009, PlayPower LT Farmington, Inc. still employs Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Service teams in the Farmington office, allowing the market facing activities to remain unchanged since the consolidation of the manufacturing operations. Since the consolidation, PlayPower has continued to market outdoor recreational products under the Little Tikes Commercial brand and has maintained a dedicated sales representative and customer service network for Little Tikes Commercial products.

The new PlayPower LT Farmington, Inc. office location has exceeded the team’s expectations.

Even with their international presence, PlayPower LT Farmington, Inc. maintains a strong connection to Farmington and the surrounding communities. Little Tikes Commercial playgrounds are favorite attractions at local schools, churches and parks, featuring innovative designs that keep children engaged physically, emotionally, and socially.

The building’s entryway showcases Little Tikes Commercial’s innovative NU-edge™ product line, including the new curved roof design which combines corrugated metal with the natural look of Naturtek™ wood beams. Themed climbers, including popular favorites Harry the Hippo, Calvin the Caterpillar and the Dragon Challenge also adorn the front lawn.
