Farmington man sustains minor injuries

Tony L. Shymire, 25, sustained minor injuries in an accident 8:25 p.m. Tuesday on Flat River Road south of Hunt Road.

According to the MSHP, A 1998 Acura Integra driven by Jonathon W. Bennett, 20, of Farmington traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.

Shymire was transported to Mineral Area Regional Medical Center by St. Francois County EMS.

The report stated neither party was wearing a seatbelt. Damage to the vehicle was listed as moderate and it was towed.
