Filing continues for April election
Filing opened Tuesday, December 11 for candidates wishing to run in the April 2, 2013 General Municipal Election. Filing will close at 5 p.m., January 15, 2013.
In the City of Fredericktown, there will be one race in each aldermanic ward, as well as for City Collector. As of press time, the individuals to file for alderman have been incumbent Paul Brown in Ward I and incumbent Rick Polete in Ward II. No one has filed in Ward III or for collector.
There will be two board members elected to the Fredericktown R-I School Board. The two filers, to date, are incumbents Leo Francis and Greg Burns.
On the Marquand-Zion R-VI School Board there will be three openings. There have been no filers.
In the City of Marquand, there are openings for Alderman Ward I and Alderman Ward II. No one has filed.
Incumbent Kent Marler and Dr. Michael Robbins have filed for two openings on the Madison Medical Center Board of Trustees.
Joalyn M. McKenney has filed for the Madison County Health Department Board of Trustees.
No one has filed for openings on the Ambulance District No. 1 (the St. Francois Precinct) or Ambulance District No. 4 (Central Precinct).
