Dragons go 2-1 in quad dual meet
STE. GENEVIEVE — The Ste. Genevieve Dragons wrestling team improved their duals record on Wednesday when they hosted a quad-dual meet with three higher-class opponents. The Class 2 Dragons defeated Class 3 Windsor 69-9 and Class 3 Sikeston 62-12, before falling to Class 4 Jackson 38-21.
Tanner Jones won all three of his matches by fall with times of 0:48, 3:58 and 1:48. Cole Reynolds also was 3–0 with two falls and a forfeit. Dan Terrana won all three with two falls and a 5-4 decision, and Travis Jones also was 3-0 with a fall, a forfeit and a decision.
The Class 2 Dragons also defeated De Soto on Thursday, 49-20, in a dual meet to go 8-1 in duals. Individual results were not available. Ste. Genevieve will partake in the Branson Tournament today.
