Lucille Pinkston
BONNE TERRE — Lucille M. Pinkston, 91 of Bonne Terre, passed away January 22, 2013. She was born March 18, 1921, in French Village. She was a member of the Aulsbury Freewill Baptist Church where she also taught Sunday School. She was a life member of the Bonne Terre V.F.W. Post 6883 Ladies Auxiliary. Lucille assisted Clyde with the family business.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Maude (Smith) Smith; husband, Clyde A. Pinkston; three brothers, Rev. Homer Smith, Howard Smith and Kenny Smith; sister, Anna Mae Barbey.
Lucille is survived by three sons, Donald (Carolyne) Pinkston, Ralph (Patricia) Pinkston and Gary (Carlotta) Pinkston; six grandchildren, Rhonda (Derrick) Kemper, Donald Scott (Karri) Pinkston, David Pinkston, Michelle (Justin) Culton, Sherri Wolff, Crystal (David) Culkin; six great-grandchildren; brother, James Eugene Smith.
Visitation will be Friday, January 25, 2013, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Randy Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Bonne Terre Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, American Diabetes Association or Preferred Hospice.
