Upward Smiles trivia contest

The Future Community Leaders of St. Francois County has agreed to organize and sponsor a trivia night to benefit Upward Smiles, a non-profit corporation based off Parkway Drive, that provides an array of dental services to under-privileged children of Missouri. Those aged 2-19 years who are eligible to receive Medicaid benefits can be seen at Upward Smiles.

The trivia will be held Feb. 23 at Heritage Hall in Bonne Terre. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the event begins at 7 p.m. Only $10 per player, and tables of up to 10 are allowed. Pre-registration is not required, but is recommended to guarantee a table.

The Future Community Leaders of St. Francois County is a community outreach organization that has sponsored a variety of benefit events in the past including the 5K for United Way, car wash for North County Track and Field team, and assisted with bell ringing for United Way of St. Francois County. Future Community Leader’s President, Jeffrey Cauley, described the group as “a collection of young mature-minded individuals seeking to better their community to the best of their ability.” The group boasts that the proceeds from their sponsored projects always stay in St. Francois County and the community directly receives benefits.

Snacks, drinks, and Little Caesar’s pizza will be provided at no additional cost. Send team information to scauley@upwardsmiles.com to reserve a table.
