Lady Bulldogs use off day to win make up game

ELLINGTON, Mo. — The West County Lady Bulldogs had a break in the action in the MAAA Conference Tournament on Thursday, so they took full advantage of the opportunity to make up a game with the Ellington Lady Whippets to keep sharp for their Consolation final with Valle Catholic on Saturday.

West County (11-14) jumped out to a huge lead and led by 20 at the half on their way to a 60-47 win over the Lady Whippets.

Courtney Callahan found the game to her liking as she scored 26 points to lead all players in the game. Hannah Beck scored 14 and Hannah Hollock finished with eight.
