Knights beat Notre Dame on heels of tourney win

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Jordan Ankrom amassed 24 points, 11 rebounds and four assists on Tuesday night, and Farmington defeated Notre Dame 81-70 to capture its seventh victory in eight games.

D.J. Hardy contributed 16 points to lead four players in double figures as the Knights (14-10) converted 16-of-18 free throws.

Farmington carried a 35-29 advantage at halftime, and extended it 58-48 through three quarters on the road.

Dante Castro tallied 11 points with six steals while Logan England chipped in 10 points with four assists.
