Raider regiment to host game nights for DC trip

The North County Raider Regiment (marching band) will be hosting game nights for middle school and intermediate school students.

March 15 will be for intermediate school students while March 16 will be for middle school students. It will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. each night at the middle school gym. Admission is $5.

Games will include Guitar Hero, PlayStation and XBox games. There will be no games that are rated M.

Students will compete against their friends in some of their favorite video games. Concessions will be available.

Proceeds will go toward the high school marching band’s trip to Washington D.C. Memorial Day weekend. The band still needs to raise a lot of money.

Band members will also be collecting donations at Desloge Walmart March 10 and March 24. A bowling event is being planned for April.
