Fan bus available for MAC district championship game

PARK HILLS — Mineral Area College men’s basketball team (25-7) will be playing at Malcolm X Community College (22-11) in Chicago on Saturday with the winner gaining an automatic bid to the National Championships to be held later at Hutchinson, KS. The game time has changed to 5 p.m.

The college will be taking a fan bus, if enough folks are interested, which will leave in front of the Bob Sechrest Field House at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning. The cost of the fan bus will be based on how many folks will be riding. If 25 people go, the cost will be $30 per person. If 40 people go, the cost will be $20 per person. The cost of admission to the game is $5.

Persons wishing to ride on the 55 passenger fan bus, should contact Athletic Director Chad Mills at (573)518-2134 or Patsy Hunt at (573)518-2154 ASAP to reserve a seat.

Fans can leave their cars in student parking lot C across from the Field House.
