Glenda Ward
DESLOGE — Glenda Mae Ward, 99, of Farmington, formerly of Park Hills passed away March 8, 2013, at Presbyterian Manor in Farmington. She was born November 27, 1913, in Flat River. She was a member of the Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Caria and Emma (Hahn) Williams; husband, Thomas Ward; two sons, Dain and Tom “Bud” Ward; seven brothers, Paul, John, Fred, Lloyd, Walter, Joe and Jim Williams.
Glenda is survived by one daughter, Frances (Mrs. Ed) Pratte; daughters-in-law, Alice Ward and Kay Ward; four grandchildren, Dana Ward, Mark (Maggie) Ward, Jana Ward, David (Kammie) Ward; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruby Whitehead of Illinois; two brothers, Marvin and Carl Williams both of Michigan.
Visitation will be Monday, March 11, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Service will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Good Samaritan Fund or Presbyterian Hospice of Mid-America.
