Joseph Edward Mullins

Joseph Edward “Ed” Mullins, 78, died Monday, March 4, 2013 at his home near Fredericktown. He was born May 26, 1934 in Yount, Missouri, the son of Joseph Henry and Ethel (Thompson) Mullins.

He married Wyoma Lee Marshall September 10, 1970 in Reno, Nevada.

Mr. Mullins was preceded in death by his parents; son Ronald Mullins; brothers Herman Mullins and Hughey Mullins; sisters Helen Kennon, Josephine Lix, Corine Edmond, Juanita Bowling and Freda Finch.

Survivors include his wife; sons Robert E. Mullins of New Mexico and Shannon K. Mullins of Creve Coeur, Mo.; sister Irma Pyatt of Fredericktown; and four grandchildren.

Ed owned and operater his own plumbing company in Fontana, Calif. before retiring and moving back to Fredericktown to be with his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working outdoors on his farm. He was a good Christian and gave his soul to the Lord.

Funeral services were Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Timber Ridge Church with Bro. Clyde Bess officiating. Burial was in the Timber Ridge Cemetery.
