Eta Eta March meetings

Members of Beta Sigma Phi Eta Eta Chapter met in the meeting room of Pizza Hut on March 14.  The meeting was hosted by Suk Cooper. Items to be included in our theme basket to be auctioned at the Feed the Families Event were collected. Plans for entering a float in the Azalea Parade were discussed.  Matt Thal and his daughter, Amelia Grace made a surprise visit to our meeting and Amelia Grace shared her modeling skills.

March 16 found members and their guests at Susan Stotz’s home to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.  Rose Powell prepared the corned beef brisket with other members of the March Social Committee bringing traditional St. Patrick’s Day food items.

Our March 28 meeting was hosted by Koelle Paris at her home.  Changes in our by-laws were approved by members.  Float Committee shared plans for entering a Float in the Azalea Parade on May 4. The Ways and Means Committee announced that a yard sale would be held May 11 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Home Care Nursing Satellite Office on Route OO. President Melby presented the slate of officers for 2013-2014. Roy Paris presented a program on wine and food pairings to complete the evening.
