Tigers roll past Potosi for second win
ARCADIA — The Arcadia Valley Tigers tennis team picked up their second win on Tuesday in as many meets held to start the early season. The Tigers scored an 8-1 victory over the Potosi Trojans in a non-conference win.
Brian LaValle fought off a determined Xavier Ball in No. 2 singles to post the closest win of the meet at 9-8, with a 7-5 tiebreak. Arcadia Valley’s No. 3 doubles team of Alex Stark and Joey LaValle also won a tight one, 9-7 over Kameron Richards and Ethan Zettler. Potosi’s lone win came at No. 2 doubles.
Both teams will be on the road this afternoon to play a non-conference meet with Arcadia Valley heading to North County and Potosi on its way to Farmington.
