Annual Ecole de Soldat

Ste. Genevieve – The 26th annual Ecole de Soldat (School of the Soldier) will be held April 20-21 in Ste. Genevieve at the Moses Austin Park and the Ste. Genevieve Welcome Center.

The event offers residents a chance to learn about 18th century life with a series of presentations and an encampment.

A re-enactment of colonial life will take place in Moses Austin Park, with demonstrations taking place throughout Saturday and lasting until Sunday afternoon. There will be musket and cannon salutes.

Presentations will be held at the welcome center each morning.
