Letter to the Editor

Attached is a letter recently received from the Lion’s Club International Foundation.

“Dear Club President Glenn Pusey,

On behalf of Lions Club International Foundation, thank you for your club’s generous contribution of $1,000. Your club’s gift will help support Lions’ many projects locally and around the world.

As you know, LCIF and Lions around the world are committed to humanitarian service in the areas of blindness prevention, youth education and development, help for the disabled, and disaster relief.

Your club’s gift may help provide a sight-saving cataract surgery to a mother, teach a child life skills through the Lions Quest program, or rebuild a house following a natural disaster. There are many areas of need and Lions are there to help.
