Four Rebels, three Raiders receive district honors

POTOSI — At the conclusion of the Class 4, District 2 baseball Tournament, the All-District teams were announced with 26 players selected by the six district coaches honored as either First-Team, Second-Team or Honorable Mention.

The Central Rebels had two players, Derek Mitchell and Jake Rhodes, named to the first-team, and Riley Calvird and Collin Manion received honorable mention.

Five players from the district champions Ste. Genevieve Dragons received honors. Shortstop Broc Kreitler and pitcher Andrew Suiter were named to the first team. Nick Vaeth and Bryn Huck were selected to the second team and Dan Lurk received honorable mention.

North County placed one player on each squad with catcher Eric Thompson the first team selection, Jon Stabeow the second team, and Levi Moss honorable mention.

Potosi’s Dakota Glore and Devin Hammock were both first team selections, and Lane Mercille and Dylan Coleman were awarded honorable mention.
