Madison County Health Department Weekly Health Notes

MAY 27-31, 2013

The Women, Infant and Children (WIC) program and Immunization services will be temporarily relocated during the month of June due to remodeling of the health department for disability access.  

Effective June 3, 2013 through June 28, 2013 these services will be provided at the Fredericktown Head Start Center at 600 South Chamber Drive, Fredericktown, MO  63645.  The hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.   Late WIC day will be Thursday, June 20 until 5:30 p.m.  

All other services will remain at the health department facility at 806 West College Ave.  For information regarding WIC or Immunizations, you must call the health department at 573-783-2747.  Thank you for your assistance during our construction month.

Office hours from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday, May 29,

Visually Impaired Program: Reading of the Democrat News to audio tape from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.  If interested in volunteering or more information please contact Kim James or Teresa Clark at 783-2747.

Thursday, May 30,

WIC (Women, Infant and Children) Clinic from 8 to 11:30 a.m. then 1 to 5:15 p.m.  For more information or to make an appointment please contact Kim James or Velma Osborne at 783-2747.

Friday, May 31,

Office hours from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

If you have any questions regarding the clinics or services provided through the Madison County Health Dept., please feel free to call 783-2747 between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
