Judge sends three to prison

Three individuals were recently sentenced before Circuit Court Judge Sandy Martinez.

Heather N. Buckley, 28, of Farmington, was sentenced to 21 years in prison for violating the probation she received for two counts of passing a bad check and two counts of forgery. The judge will consider placing her on a new term of probation after she completes a 120-day drug treatment program.

Travis Nathaniel Vinson, 32, of Poplar Bluff, was sentenced to four years in prison for violating the probation he received for driving with a revoked license. The judge will consider releasing him on a new term of probation after he completes a 120-day shock incarceration program.

Chad Ryan Barbee, 28, of Bismarck, was sentenced to five years in prison for stealing.
