Dominic David Gentile
WENTZVILLE — Dominic David Gentile of Wentzville passed away peacefully on July 21, 2013.
Loving son of Frank and Lee (Colson) Gentile, Brother of Lang Gentile and fiancé of Cayla Bredbenner,
daughter of Terry Bredbenner. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Colson of Farmington and grandmother, Helen Marie (Lang) Gentile of Wentzville, and his Uncle Craig Colson of Oklahoma City, OK.
Dominic graduated from UMSL with a degree in Business Management. He was employed by Dick’s Sporting Goods for three years. He thoroughly loved his job and the people he worked with and looked forward to each day with great enthusiasm.
Survivors include grandfather Frank Gentile of Wentzville, grandmother Norma (Aslinger) Colson of Farmington. Aunts and Uncles: Susan (Colson) Freund, Jill Colson of Farmington, Greg and Beth (Colson) Wade of St.Louis, Suzanne (Gentile) Dickens, Dominic and Sharon Gentile of Wentzville, and Pete and Chris Gentile of Troy.
Cousins: Matthew Freund of St. Louis, Alex and Luke Freund of Farmington, Marcus, Andrea and Alison Wade of St. Louis, Anne and Rachel Colson of Oklahoma City, Sherri Gentile of Troy, Sandi (Gentile) Rocha of Wentzville, Melissa (and Nikole) Gentile of Clearwater, Florida, Charlie (and Cory) Dickens of St. Louis.
In lieu of flowers Dominic’s family suggest donations be made: Or St.Anthony’s Hospice / de Greff Hospice house in memory of Dominic D. Gentile. The family also requests you bring a favorite photo of Dominic with you and a note telling a favorite story to be shared on a bulletin board at the service.
A memorial service will be held at Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville, Missouri on Friday July 26, 2013 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. is visitation, 7:00 p.m. will be the service with refreshments to follow.
