Road Riders returning to Madison County
Once again it is time for the roar of thundering motorcycle pipes, custom paint with murals, flames and pinstripes, and shiny chrome glimmering in the sunlight as the Road Riders For Jesus ride into Fredericktown for their annual Days Of Praise Rally.
Friendly bikers dressed in leather wearing friendly smiles will be riding in from all parts of the country. These familiar sights and sounds will be here in Fredericktown starting on Sept. 4 until Sept. 8.
The main rally event will be held at Pinecrest Camp and Conference Center located on Highway C in Cherokee Pass. This event is open to any and all motorcyclists and all brands of motorcycles. On Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. there will be a concert at the camp with The Redemptions Gospel group. This concert is free and open to anyone who would like to attend the concert.
September 10, there will be a motorcycle show at noon on the Country Mart parking lot. This event is also open to anyone who would like to enter their motorcycle and we invite everyone to come and view the motorcycles and vote for your favorite one. There will be free hot dogs and soda while the bike show and bike games are going on. At 7 p.m. on Sept. 7 at Pinecrest Camp and Conference Center, there will be a free Gospel concert by Ogburn Junction, a local Bluegrass Gospel group. This concert is free and open to the public .
The group will also be participating in the Madison County 9-11 Remembrance Ceremony at noon Sept. 6. The ceremony will be held at the Madison County Courthouse flagpole. Tim Stafford will be the featured speaker for the event.
If you have any questions, feel free to stop any of these Road Riders For Jesus, they would love to talk with you.
