PARK HILLS — William D. Starnes, 49, of Bonne Terre passed away August 27, 2013, at his residence. Was born October 10, 1963, at Wauchula, Florida.

From the gates of Heaven descending the Angels upon this earth to receive the chosen one — William D. Starnes to the Promise Land.

Preceded in death by his parents; Talmadge William, DeWitt Starnes, and Evelyn (Taylor) Starnes; sister, Peggy Starnes.

Survived by wife, Diane Starnes; of Bonne Terre; step-children, Charles Works and wife, Danielle, and Carolyn Hardin; grandchildren, Dominick Works, Ethan Workes, Jullia Workes, and Phoenix Hardin; two brothers, Everett Starnes and Ronnie Starnes; sister, Barbara Miller; special friends, Robert and Loretta; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2013.
