Yard sale to benefit Alzheimer’s Association

A brand new Walk to End Alzheimer’s team is holding a yard sale and bake sale Saturday to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association.

The sale will be held at 1021 Gifford Street in Bismarck near the Bismarck Church of God. It starts at 7 a.m.

Team members of the group, “Ma’am (Mineral Area Aides for Memories) include Sheri Litton, and Dawn McIntyre and her parents, Connie and James.

Litton and Dawn each have more than one person in their family who have suffered from Alzheimer’s.

There will be drawings at the yard sale. They will sell chances and do a drawing for Dawn and Connie’s cake decorating business, D&C Custom Cakes and one for Kevin’s Gamers Bazaar in Farmington.

The area Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held Sept. 14 at the Crystal Oaks Campus in Crystal City. Registration is at 8 a.m. with the walk starting at 9 a.m.
