Griffith leads Farmington to dominant cross country win

JACKSON, Mo. — Farmington senior Tabitha Griffith covered the 2.35-mile course at Jackson City Park in 14:41 on Saturday, separating herself from the pack by 79 second at the finish line.

The Knightettes easily earned the Jackson Invitational girls team championship after boasting the the top four individual runners in the event.

Courtney Armon (16:00) was the runner-up, followed by Jessica McKenzie (16:22) in third place and Mackenzie Weakley (16:27) in fourth.
