Bulldogs go long to beat Whippets 19-0

ELLINGTON — Utilizing a pitching team of three, the West County Bulldogs were able to rough up the Ellington Whippets 19-0 on Monday. Jonathan Hovick, Jared Jones and Blake Barlow all tended to mound duty with Hovick picking up the win with three strike-outs over two innings.

The Bulldogs had four home runs in the game. Austin Tounsand was 2-3 with two three-run home runs, and Parker Forshee (2-2) and Clayton Brinkley (3-3) each had one home run. Barlow was 2-3 at the plate, Josh Barnett was 1-1,  and Kyle Coleman was 1-3.
