Tanner Ryan Wafler

Tanner Ryan “Bear” Wafler, 20, of Hoschton, Ga. died Thursday, September 19, 2013 at his residence. Bear  was born August 19, 1993 in Virginia Beach, Va.

Bear was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather John Martin and paternal grandparents John and Lillian Wafler.

Survivors include his parents Mark Wafler (Tammy) of Farmington and  Lorie-Lynn Clayton (Mike) of Hoschton; brothers; Trevor Wafler of Hoschton and Matthew Cope of Virginia Beach; sister Maggie-Beth Cope of Auburn, Ala.; maternal grandmother Brinda Stadler of Phenix City, Ala.; paternal grandparents Herbert and Carol Hoffman of Crivitz, Wis.; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a special friend, Larry Bear.

He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Phenix City and was a die- hard Alabama fan.

Memorial services were held Monday September 23, 2013 at the First Assembly of God in Phenix City with Pastor James Allen officiating.

Arrangements were handled by McMullen Funeral Home of Columbus, Ga.
