Hunters end skid with first conference win
STE. GENEVIEVE — Jacie Korenak compiled six kills and two blocks plus seven service points on Thursday night, and the Ste. Genevieve volleyball team rolled past Potosi 25-15, 25-10 for its first conference win.
Emma Basler posted a team-high seven kills with five digs, and libero Monica Inman totaled seven digs and 12 receptions for the Hunters (12-10-2). Riley Meyer, Whitney Burr and Katie Palmer each added four kills.
Ste. Genevieve ended a 3-match losing streak against MAAA competition, and will host Valle Catholic in an annual rivalry contest on Monday.
