Local man injured when vehicle strikes portable building
Failing to stop at a stop sign resulted in moderate injuries to a Fredericktown man 7:20 a.m. Thursday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Adam J. Armes, 23, was taken to Madison Medical Center by ambulance.
Troopers reported Armes was driving east in a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer on Highway 72, one mile west of Fredericktown, when he failed to stop at a stop sign. The Blazer then ran off the roadway and struck a portable building.
Armes was not wearing a seatbelt according to the patrol.
