AV Mountain Music Festival this weekend
IRONTON – Tonight, Saturday and Sunday the biannual Arcadia Valley Mountain Music Festival returns to the Iron County Courthouse grounds in Ironton.
Over the next three days visitors to the Arcadia Valley will enjoy the sounds of bluegrass, gospel and country music performed by some of the finest musical artists in the region. Square dancers and cloggers will also appear throughout the weekend.
There is no charge to attend musical events performed at the courthouse.
In addition to the top quality musical entertainment, a number of food and craft vendors will be on hand and fun activities will be offered for children.
The weekend will also feature the annual Fall Festival Parade at 10 a.m. Saturday — one of the largest and finest high school parades in the state; and on Sunday, Civil War music sponsored by the Mineral Area Council on the Arts.
