Lady Blackcats take season-ending loss

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Fredericktown ended its volleyball season Monday night with a 25-11, 25-14 setback against tournament host Notre Dame in Class 3, District 1 first-round action.

Annabeth Phillips had a solid night along the back row with 15 receptions and 12 digs for the Lady Blackcats (8-19-2).

Paige Umfleet also received 15 serves and Paige Godsey unleashed two aces in defeat. Raylyn Dodd tallied two kills and Kelly Tucker had two blocks.
