Iron County teen faces sodomy, molestation counts
An Annapolis teen has been charged with three sex-related crimes.
Kody M. Northcutt, 17, has been charged with first-degree statutory sodomy, and two counts of the Class B felony of child molestation. His bond has been set at $150,000 cash or surety.
According to court records, a girl under the age of 14 told authorities that Northcutt inappropriately touched her. The incident occurred in St. Francois County in September.
In an unrelated case, a Bonne Terre man will be going to prison for a sex offense.
Wayne Woltering, 46, was sentenced to 14 years in prison for violating the probation he received for two counts of deviate sexual assault.
The charges alleged he had sex with a minor between May and June of 2010 in a home south of Farmington. He entered Alford pleas to those two charges in May. By entering an Alford plea he did not admit to any element of the charge but recognized there was sufficient evidence for trial.
Woltering was already registered as a sex offender for a 1987 conviction of sodomy in St. Louis.
In other recent court cases, James Metcalf, 46, of Farmington, was sentenced to four years in prison for violating the probation he received for failure to pay child support.
Sheila Tripp, 23, of Farmington, was sentenced to seven years in prison for violating the probation she received for passing a bad check. The judge will consider releasing her on a new term on probation after she completes a 120-day shock incarceration program.
Andrew Buesking, 40, of Fredericktown, was sentenced to three years in prison for violating the probation he received for failure to pay child support.
Marilyn D. Cunningham, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for violating the probation she received for sale of a controlled substance. The judge will consider releasing her on a new term of probation after she completes a 120-day drug treatment program.
Rickey J. Stacey Jr., 34, of St. Louis, was sentenced to seven years in prison for violating the probation he received for possession of heroin and possession of a controlled substance.
