Community Thanksgiving Service

Three Fredericktown churches are working together to provide a Community Thanksgiving Service at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, at the United Methodist Church (216 South Main Street).

The public is invited to attend this ecumenical service of thanks.  There will be something for everyone: Music ranging from contemporary to gospel; prayer time; a Thanksgiving message; open Communion; and the Lord’s Prayer in Native American sign language.

The Community Thanksgiving Service is a joint effort of the Christian Church, Methodist Church, and Presbyterian Church.  It is being coordinated by pastors Ron Stair, Lora Cunningham and Mark Wiley, with hopes the larger community will feel welcome to attend.
