Marquand-Zion to present Christmas Program
Marquand-Zion Elementary School will present their annual Christmas program on Thursday evening, December 5, at 7 p.m. in Tiger Gym. The evening’s pageant is entitled “Twas One CRAZY Night Before Christmas.”
According to music director David Stevens, the play is about a family who is “invaded” by relatives on Christmas Eve as the young ones focus on Santa’s arrival. During the evening, they reflect on their love for Martha Stewart, try to uncover Santa impostors that show up each year, bemoan slippers as a legitimate Christmas gift, and bask in the glow of Christmas cheer.
The evening’s program will also feature a traditional holiday carol sing-along as well as a special visit from a friend from the North Pole. The public is invited to attend this free concert.
