NC intermediate collecting meat for Desloge pantry

North County Intermediate is holding a meat drive through Friday to benefit the Desloge Food Pantry.

The pantry has been running low on meat items for its clients. Donations of canned, frozen and refrigerated meat items will be accepted at North County Intermediate, located at 801 East Elm St. in Desloge. The school will be arranging daily deliveries to the food pantry during the donation time frame.

A competition is being held between the classes, awarding a pizza party to the classroom bringing in the most total pounds of meat items.
