Russell Bollinger

Russell Glenn “Sonny” Bollinger, 73, died Saturday, November 23, 2013 in Fredericktown. He was born September 9, 1940 in Fredericktown, the son of Russell and Goldie Irene (Stephens) Bollinger.

Sonny married Ginger Nichols May 18, 1962 at Alexandria, La.

Mr. Bollinger was preceded in death by his parents; brother Sammy Dwight Bollinger; and sister Ginger Kinder.

He is survived by his wife Ginger; daughters Nan (Joey) Allgier of Fredericktown, Mindy (Kevin) Denton of Jackson; brothers Lindell Bollinger of Barnhart, Ron Bollinger of Cape Girardeau, Bruce Bollinger of Barnhart; sisters Faye Prokopf of Jackson, Bobbie Lenhardt of Fredericktown, and Irene Cureton of Fredericktown; and four grandchildren.

He enjoyed fishing, carpentry, and spending time with family.

Funeral services were Monday, November 25, 2013 at Follis & Sons Funeral Home with  Dr. Lindell Sikes and Bro. Ray Allgier officiating. Burial was in the Christian Cemetery.
