Rotary Shoot-out slate diminished by weather
PARK HILLS — The 55th Annual St. Francois County Rotary Basketball Shoot-out is to tip-off today at the Robert Sechrest Sr. Fieldhouse on the campus of Mineral Area College if weather permits.
As of press time Friday evening, three of the orignal scheduled eight games had been canceled. The 9 a.m. eighth grade boys game between Central and West County, the 10:30 boys game between Bismarck and Viburnum, and the 1:30 p.m. girls game between North County and Hillsboro were all deleted.
High school games still on the docket are Ste. Genevieve vs. St. Vincent boys game at noon, West County vs. Central boys at 3 p.m., and Farmington vs. Eureka girls at 4:30 p.m.
To cap off the day, at 6 p.m. the MAC women will host SE Illinois, and the MAC men will play Kansas City CC at 8 p.m.

Admission for an “all-day” pass is $5 for ages six and above and all proceeds will benefit the local Rotary club scholarship fund.
The St. Francois County Rotary Club has served the area for the past 79 years and provides service and humanitarian projects locally and internationally.
