Relay for Life being planned

The Relay For Life of Madison and Iron Counties is fast approaching.

The Relay is scheduled for June 13-14 at the Fredericktown Azalea Park. This year, Madison and Iron Counties will again combine their efforts in the fight against cancer.

This year’s Kick-Off meeting will be January 6. Everyone is welcome. This meeting is for past, present and future teams, or individuals looking to join a team. If you are at all interested in helping to “Finish the Fight” against cancer, please attend this meeting.

Now is the time to organize or become part of a Relay For Life team. Teams consist of up to 15 people. They can be family, friends, co-workers, church groups, civic organizations, school clubs or faculty, health-care facilities, real estate agencies, beauty shops, etc. – just people helping people.

Team registration is due February 3. To register your team, or to get more information on forming a team, contact Team Recruitment Chair Dawn Matthews at 573-576-6744 as soon as possible.
