De Soto man receives minor injuries

A De Soto man suffered minor injuries in a crash Monday morning on US 67 at Route JJ.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a private vehicle transported William C. Foley, 29, to Mercy Jefferson hospital for treatment.

The trooper investigating the crash reports the accident happened at 7:50 a.m. when a westbound 2011 Chevrolet Silverado attempted to cross the northbound lanes of US 67. The Silverado pulled into the path of a 1988 Toyota Corolla driven by Foley resulting in the collision.

Both drivers were wearing a seatbelt according to the report.
