Rosemae Cook

Rosemae Cook, 91, died  Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown. She was born September 21, 1922 in Fredericktown, the daughter of Sylvester and Ida (Henderson) Venable.

Rosemae was preceded in death by her parents; her husband the Rev. J. Blanton Cook, whom she married on June 6, 1939 in St. Louis; sister Ethel DeRuiter and brothers John, Vernon and Webb Venable.

Survivors include son Jerry Cook of O’Fallon; daughters Donna Willis of Huntsville, Ala. and Becky Whitworth of Fredericktown; six grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Rosemae was of the Nazarene/Protestant Faith. She enjoyed writing, sewing, music and Church work.

Funeral services were Friday, December 13, 2013, at Follis & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Graddy and Pastor Tommy Fults officiating. Burial was  in Marcus Memorial Park.
